Summer camp for the American corners of Georgia
With the funding of the American Embassy, in the summer of 2022, in Imereti, Tskaltubo municipality, we implemented a youth educational camp for 50 participants from 10 regions of Georgia.
"Camp of Changes" is the name of the educational adventure, the concept and program of which we created for 50 young people gathered throughout Georgia. The camp aimed to share knowledge about the historical experience of public initiatives, time-tested mechanisms for change and future perspectives for community leaders youth. Therefore, along with games, workshops, physical and intellectual activities, the camp program included a series of talks by contemporary thought leaders on the following topics:
- Irakli Khvadagiani: "Examples of community and civil solidarity in Georgia before the Soviet occupation";
- Davit Khvadagiani: "How is history created about public changes and leaders";
- Levan Berdzenishvili: "How does literature change an individual and what is the impact of writing on society";
- Emzar Jgerenaya - Sociology of generations, how generations and their values change";
- Giorgi Kadagidze: "The spirit and difficulties of the road to success";
- Giorgi Khvedeliani: how and why initiative, will and passion for changes appear";
- Keti Devdarian: "Cinema in the service of propaganda";
- Levan Gambashidze: "A hero's journey - how courageous individuals change the status quo";
- Mamuka Safaridze: management of the cycle of formation of initiatives and their implementation".
