empowering women’s business opportunities

“empowering women’s business opportunities” project is Laboratory of Georgia’s experimental project, by which, on the one hand we empower women and on the other hand equip young people with knowledge connected to business management.  

The aim of the project was promotion of economic development  for female entrepreneurs living in Imereti region and interest in entrepreneurial skills of young people.

The first stage – we planned and implemented short term educational courses for young people and entrepreneurs in business management, marketing, sales and financial accounting.

The second stage – young people ,mentored by professional consultants, identified and worked on problems that were being dealt with by three businesses located in Imereti region.

On summary meeting of the project young people presented a report of consulting works which included financial analysis of target enterprises; inventory and stock accounting documents; profit and loss accounts and balance sheets; evaluation of companies’ strength and weaknesses; recommendation-analytical part.

We believe, recommendations developed by our team will help female entrepreneurs to develop their businesses.
