Evaluation of the implementation of the UNDP grant program "Strategic Investments for the Growth of Packaging Supply Chain Companies"

In 2024, the team of the Georgia laboratory worked on the evaluation of the implementation of the projects funded in the grant program "Strategic investments for the growth of packaging supply chain companies" announced within the framework of the joint initiative of the European Union and the United Nations Development Program "EU Innovative Project for the Competitiveness of the Private Sector in Georgia".

The purpose of the grant program was to help companies that needed co-financing to improve their business activities, to facilitate the growth of sales and employment, to create and update the quality of products or services.

As a result of the completion of the grant program, the total investment of the 6 winning projects identified in the Imereti region amounted to 307,540.68 USD, the investment allocated for grant funding was 162,000.00 USD, and the total investment of participation by the beneficiaries was 145,540.69 USD. As a result of the implementation of the projects, 28 new jobs were created.
